Site Investigations

We Go Beyond Your Typical Site Investigations

ENVISION’s capabilities and expertise go beyond simply being a Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessment service provider. We see our function more broadly as we provide services tailored to our clients’ situations and needs. Many of our clients rely on us to evaluate conditions of possible environmental concern associated with machinery relocation; building expansion; demolition or construction activities around chemical use, storage or manufacturing process areas; detection and assessment of leaks or suspected deterioration in tanks, trenches, pits and other unit operations; and much more.

ENVISION has conducted investigations that:

  • define contaminant sources
  • identify impacted environmental media
  • delineate the extent of the contamination
  • assess any potential threats to receptors
  • make regulatory compliance determinations and recommendations
  • evaluate effectiveness of current treatment and control technology, and containment structures
  • characterize site conditions, identify best practices, and identify areas for cost effective improvement

We fully realize that time is of the essence in site investigation projects. ENVISION’s multi-tiered data collection approach obtains the required contaminant delineation data during the initial site investigation mobilization. This approach provides the needed information to accurately assess the extent of the issues of concern and to assist in developing potential remedial alternatives. ENVISION’s multi-tiered data collection approach provides our clients with considerable savings in both costs and timing through the elimination of multiple investigation-related mobilizations to the site for contaminant delineation data collection purposes.

ENVISION is involved in every aspect of the site investigation process. We identify potential areas of concern, develop the investigation workplan, determine potential impacts on the ongoing site operations, develop and issue workplan RFPs, retain subcontractors (drillers, excavators, etc.), conduct the field work including the oversight of subcontractors and the performance of sample collection activities, conduct site restoration activities, prepare and submit investigation reports, and fulfill regulatory liaison duties for our clients.
